Apart from the opportunity to meet the Bishnoi Families, visitors can also enjoy a view of thousands migratory Demoiselle cranes at the Guda Pond and nearby place.

Khejarli is a village in 26 KM south-east of the city of Jodhpur. The town's name is from Khejri (Prosopis Cineraria) trees that were once abundant. In this village, 363 Bishnois died saving the Khejri tree about two centuries age. The tree is a State Tree of Rajasthan.
