A world-renowned temple of Lord Vishnu. This 79 feet high temple was built by Maharana Jagat Singhji in 1651. It is owned and managed by the royal family of Udaipur.
The largest palace in Rajasthan, It is a white marble structure standing majestically on a hill surrounded by walls. Started by Udai Singh, this enormous edifice 30.4 meters high and 244 meters in length was subsequently added on to by later rulers. The entrance to this Palace is through Hathi Pol (the Elephant gate) along the main street of the old city. The Bara Pol, or the Great gate, brings you to the first court leading to the Tripolia gate which has eight carved marble archways or torans.
