Stop 2

We start the tour at Zagreb’s famous Zrinjevac Park, which will give you some great selfie and photo opportunities in this green oasis of the city while we provide you with interesting stories about our town.

Stop 3

From the park we will hit Ban Josip Jelacic Square, the capitals main square with prominent statue of Ban Josip Jelacic a noted army general, remembered for his military campaigns during the Revolutions of 1848 and for his abolition of serfdom in Croatia.

Gornji Grad ("Upper Town") referring to its historical location on city's hillside, being above Donji Grad ("Lower Town") is full of charm and it gathers a lot of Zagreb interest points such as the Dolac market, St Mark Church, Kamenita Vrata (Stone gate), the cathedral (Kaptol), Croatian Government Building, Croatian Parliament and many more where you can enjoy the charm of medieval Zagreb.

Zagreb Cathedral of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary is a Zagreb landmark. As a matter of fact, it is the most monumental sacral building in Neo-Gothic style southeast of the Alps.

Zagreb oldest green and farmers market. Enjoy this location with all your senses. Get introduced to local food and taste some local products.

Back in the days tunnel under Grič Hill was used for military purposes, today it is a tourist attraction and a great short-cut trough the city centre.

After Upper Town we will descend down to the Tkalčićeva street. It is Zagreb's most famous pedestrian zone packed with bars and restaurants. There is always something going on there.

FREE TIME: After getting introduced to Croatia's Capital some free time at your own leisure will be provided.
Shall you spend it for lunch or museums there is plenty of options.

After an interesting full day experience of Croatia's capital we will return back to Ljubljana.
