Cruise to church island with traditional wooden »Pletna« boat, ring a Bell of Good Luck, take a break and try »kremšnita«, local pastry, simply stroll around the lake and embrace the nature.

From Alpine vistas in few hours drive we will descend to Mediterranean world of Istra peninsula and Adriatic sea. Detailed itinerary

1

Small group approach with carefully planned time, where experienced local tour operator’s chauffeur guide will collect you at designated location for an informative hourly ride to mountainous Alpine region to visit Bled.

2

Take a short walk along the lake shore or climb atop a steep cliff more than 100m above the lake to visit Bled Castle with its amazing vistas over Alps, lake and forests of Triglav National Park.

The tiny, tear-shaped island beckons from the shore, where you can take ‘pletna’ boat for a ride to island. Rowers still use man power as in old days, making your experience more memorable. On the island climb atop 99 stairs and ring the bell for your wishes to come true.

Upon return from the island stop at the local patisserie and take a break; taste Bled’s famous cream cake – kremšnita. Since the last 60 years, as many as 12 million cream cakes have been sold. Try it yourself.

3

In few hours from mountainous Alps we will change the scenery reaching wine and olive groves of Mediterranean. In Piran, you will feel as though you have stepped right into a picture postcard.

4

You will be charmed during our walks through narrow winding streets of Piran! At the main square, you will be greeted by the statue of the most famous son of Piran, Giuseppe Tartini, composer and virtuoso violinist; reaching atop to the dramatically situated Cathedral of St. George, patron of the city. Get to know more about salt – white gold of Piran!

5

Nearby Portoroz has been a tourist destination as far back as the 13th century, but it reached it’s »golden age« in August 1910 when majestic Hotel Palace opened its doors. It was a charming pearl of the era. In 1913 Portorož hosted almost 7,000 guests and it started to become internationally renowned. We will provide you with enough time to explore today’s vibe of the Slovenian prime coastal town, Portoroz.

6

After a nice full day experience we will return back to Ljubljana.

Drop off will be at same location as pick up.
