About this experience

We specialize Leopard Centric Photography Safaris to Yala National Park which we have been exploring for the past 8 years.

Your experienced driver also acting as a tracking guide will listen carefully to the distress calls of the monkeys, deer, and birds and will understand the behavior and the movement of the leopards on that day. Therefore, he will drive in the routes that will give you the best chance of seeing the big cats.

The specially designed safari jeep which is a Land Rover Defender sits 5 people comfortably. The retractable windshield is made just for low-angle photography and to maximize the scenic views surrounding you.

We will start the Safari from the car park of the Palatupana Entrance of the Park or Hotel (Free hotel pick up can be arranged if in the Yala vicinity)

Once we go through the standard process of entry into the park, we will start exploring the second biggest national park in Sri Lanka which is home to the Largest Leopard population in Sri Lanka

Your experienced driver also acting as a tracking guide will listen carefully to the distress calls of the monkeys, deer and birds will understand the behavior and the movement of the leopards on that day. Therefore, he will drive in the routes that will give you the best chance of seeing the big cats

Be sure to keep an eye out for the exclusive Sri Lankan Sloth Bear and Elephants amongst other species. Yala is also a true haven for seasonal migratory & resident birds
