We depart from Central Christchurch and make our way to the Rakaia Gorge for a thrilling 45 minute jet boat ride with Discovery Jet. Check out the incredible limestone cliffs nestled alongside this glacial-fed braided river and throw a few spins along the way for a bit of fun...why not?
We then head for a short drive to the town of Methven where we enjoy lunch at the iconic Blue Pub (food included, drinks additional).
After a delicious pub lunch we head to the beautiful Opuke Hot Pools and Spa, this state-of-the-art complex is the perfect spot to completely chill out for 2 hours. Take in the views of Mount Hutt, the foothills and the most relaxed environment around the pools.
We return to Christchurch after a great day out in the country.
