Mengalum Island, situated 56km northwest of Kota Kinabalu, approximately an hour and a half away. this uninhabited atoll offers stunning powder-white sands, vibrant neon-blue waters, and a serene, protected coral lagoon a genuine paradise for divers and sun enthusiasts.

Detailed itinerary

Stop 1

Prepare for pick-up and gather in the hotel lobby, where driver will arrive to pick you. Please note that there may be delays due to traffic, road conditions, or other customers response time. Once arrive at the jetty, you will be ready to board the boat.

This boat transfer to the Mengalum Island will span approximately one and a half hours, depending on the sea conditions. Upon arrival continue welcomed by your guide, who will offer you refreshing beverages. A comprehensive safety briefing will follow, along with a thorough check of your snorkeling and diving equipment before embarking on your adventure.

The snorkeling or DSD diving will take place at two spots, which depend on the sea condition for about 45 minutes long, where our DSD divers will be joined by an instructor on site.

Then in the afternoon, it's back to the island for a BBQ lunch or buffet. unwind and bask on the white sand beach. Feel free to swim, snap some photos, or just perfect your sunbathing skills. Once finished up your island adventure, hop on a boat and then a vehicle to make your grand return to Kota Kinabalu.
