About this experience

A full day trip on a traditional dhow boat around the southern coastline of Zanzibar.

This magical journey will take you on an explora- tion of the Indian Ocean from Fumba shing vil- lage to the Menai Bay conservation area. There is a chance that you will see both Indo-Paci c hump- back and bottlenose dolphins.

The dhow boats are hand-crafted in East African mahogany. They are well equipped with motor outboards, sunshades, boarding ladder and life jackets.

In the sandbank you will snorkel, sunbath and swim. There are experienced snorkeling instruc- tors who will show you the coral reef and tropical marine life.

What you'll see

Arriving by car at Fumba village, continue with a wooden boat cruising to Sandbank. Our crews will set up your tent while you are getting ready for swimming, snorkelling. Chillaxing on the sandbank paradise, we have nice and cleaned snorkelling equipment for you.

Accompanied by Tanzania cold white wine when it is searing, soft drinks and exotic fruits mmmm. Letter on will take you to Kwale island nearby where you will get to your seafood barbeque table under the shade of lunch and swimming and relaxing. Will take a short walk on the other side of the island to enjoy the lagoon and the 500 years old baobab tree before we set up our traditional dhow to return to the main island.
