The Diamante tour consists of a two-hour walking tour in which we will see the entire Diamante sanctuary. This sanctuary is populated by animals that have been rescued from homes where they were illegally kept as pets. We will have the opportunity to see jaguars, pumas, different types of monkeys, crocodiles, snakes, frogs, butterflies, toucans, and other animal species. One of the main attractions of this tour is watching Lucy the sloth being fed by the park staff. The animals are being cared for in the best possible way, so you should not worry about them because, being cared for by professionals, they are much better off than in the place they were before. Having been pets or in captivity, they cannot return to the wild. In addition to the sanctuary, we will also enjoy an incredible cultural tour in which we will learn about sugarcane, chocolate, and coffee.
