Greetings from Magical Mumbai Tours!
We are excited that you have booked the Elephanta Caves tour with us. To ensure you have a comfortable and enjoyable experience. We're dedicated to ensuring your tour is both enjoyable and unforgettable so we would like to provide you with some important information.
Please remember to carry a hat, sunscreen, and comfortable walking shoes for the tour. As you reach Elephanta Island, you will be handed over to a local tour guide from the island itself. Please note that our company's guide is not allowed to accompany you on the island due to the island's rules and regulations.
You are encouraged to ask the local tour guide any questions you may have during the tour. They will be able to provide you with information about the history, significance, and features of the Elephanta Caves.
Towards the end of the tour, the guide may take you to a couple of shops and encourage you to buy souvenirs. Please be cautious during this time. It is important to know that these shops may claim to be family-owned and ask for your support. However, we advise you to firmly say "NO" and not to stop or engage in any transactions. Some guides do this despite our warnings, and unfortunately, we have limited control over their actions. Please remember to politely decline and continue on with the tour. This way, you can avoid potential situations where you may end up paying more money than necessary.
We want your experience at the Elephanta Caves to be memorable for all the right reasons. If you have any further questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out to us. We are here to assist you.
