Traveling by car to Etna we will pass through several unknown villages where we could admire the customs, food and untouched nature of several local people who have been living in these places for several generations.
Arrived at an altitude of 6000 feat we will visit the southern part of the Silvestri Craters starting a fluctuating path with a panoramic view of the Ionian coast.
It is possible to take the cable car and the bus of the same company to reach an altitude of 9500 ft. Tickets not included.
It is also possible on request make a stop in a local winery, have a winetasting with a light lunch (to be paid extra).
A brief stop in Giardini Naxos, precisely in Naxos Schisò, the first Greek colony in Sicily, where we could admire the seafront and the promontory of Taormina and Castelmola.
We continue our journey towards Taormina, making a stop at Piazza Belvedere to admire the splendid Isola Bella Nature Reserve.
Afterwards you will have 1 hour and a half to devote to visiting the historic center of Taormina, the Greek Theater, the main street Corso Umberto adorned with churches, shops and squares with panoramic views.
