Guests arrive at our bike shop. This is the starting and ending location. The bike shop is located on mile 5 of the Timpoochee trail. The staff will explain how to use the bikes and you will head to the trail. Also there will be a few options to fuel your ride: Blue Mountain Bakery's baked goods and Blue Mountain Beach Creamery's ice cream treats.

Around Mile 7 of the trail, as you reach the 7-mile mark, keep an eye out for the sign for Grayton Beach State Park (entrance a mile ahead). This park offers more beautiful beachfront, access to the unique Western Lake, and inviting bike and foot trails.ike along the park roads to reach the shores of Western Lake, a unique coastal dune lake. You can enjoy the views and perhaps combine your ride with some birdwatching. Admission fee to the park is $2 and is free from Memorial Day thru Labor Day.

Once you pass Grayton Beach, post-Western Lake Bridge: You'll spot the WaterColor entrance – more shops and food await! For a detour, turn left onto Watercolor Blvd. to see this naturally integrated community. The bridge itself is a great photo spot.

The trail then crosses 30A into Seaside, famous from "The Truman Show." Bike through Central Square for food trucks (Airstream Row) and other eateries. Consider exploring Seaside's charming neighborhoods behind the square – Ruskin Shops, the Chapel, and pastel homes are iconic.

After Leaving Seaside, around mile 11 of the trail, you'll soon reach Seagrove. There’s a small shopping center with a few restaurants and shops.

Once you pass Seagrove, keep an eye out for Deer Lake, quickly followed by the entrance to Deer Lake State Park. Admission to the park ($2) is not included. This protected area is perfect for more biking and exploring unique coastal dune habitats leading to pristine Gulf beaches. Consider a quick detour for stunning natural beauty!

Around mile 14, just past Deer Lake, you'll arrive at WaterSound. The heart of WaterSound is "The Big Chill 30A," a lively hub with live music, movies, and delicious food options like fresh seafood at Tackle Box and award-winning BBQ at Local Smoke. WaterSound offers the perfect blend of peaceful biking and engaging social life.

As you pedal along the Timpoochee Trail and spot the iconic white butteries and stately palm trees lining 30A, you'll know you've arrived at Alys Beach.This is a perfect place to pause your ride. Explore the unique Caribbean architecture, enjoy the nature trail, or peek at the Caliza Pool. Grab refreshments at Raw & Juicy or George's.
