We start this tour early morning at 06:30 am and the distance to Alexandria is 225 km, so it takes about 3 hours to arrive there. In the midway we do one stop to use washrooms or drink coffee. Then you will arrive to Alexandria by 10:00 am.
Alexandria was the capital of Egypt during the Greek-Roman era; so most of the sightseeing date back to that time.
We will start visiting the Roman-style tombs the Catacombs are unique styles in Egypt. The Fort of Qaitbey was built in the same place in which was built the lighthouse of Alexandria. The Bibliotheca Alexandrina, the modern and new library which was inaugurated in 2002, was almost built in the same place which was the ancient Library of Alexandria.
Please consider that Alexandria is a crowded city so moving from one visit to the other takes 15-20 minutes
After finishing our visits we will drive back to Cairo by 15:30- 16:00, and we arrive to Cairo by 18:30- 19:00
