We start by picking you up from your accommodation in the city center (4:00 to 5:00 am) and take you on a comfortable 2-hour journey to Cusipata, where you will enjoy a delicious breakfast.
After breakfast, we continue the journey for an additional hour to the base camp in Pulawasipata. Here, our guide will provide instructions, and you will have 10 minutes to prepare before starting the hike, which lasts approximately 1 hour and a half. Along the way, you'll be amazed by South American camelids and local residents adorned in traditional colorful attire.
Upon reaching the Rainbow Mountain, you'll have time to rest, take photos, and enjoy the breathtaking landscape, including impressive views of Ausangate, the highest peak in Cusco. Afterwards, we'll return along the same path to our vehicle and head back to Cusipata for a delicious buffet lunch.
Following lunch, we'll return to the city of Cusco in our transportation, dropping you off in the downtown area of Cusco.
