In one and a half hour we will make a short coffee break at a quality restaurant on a highway, where you can relax and enjoy a comfortable rustic atmosphere and stretch your legs during your break.

The first big stop on your way will be a white-snow Ort castle Ort, where lots of couples dream of celebrating their weddings and there will be an opportunity to make amazing memory pictures on the famous wooden bridge.

You will visit a heart of Salzkammergut region – a fabulous town of Hallstatt. You will visit a heart of Salzkammergut region – a fabulous town of Hallstatt, lost among the high mountains on the shore of the lake with blue azure coloured water. This place is considered to be the main view of the Alpine Austria, but no picture can show a splendid atmosphere of this town and its original character. During your free time you will have enough time for lunch and walking through the narrow streets of the town and admire magnificent views of the lake and huge mountains or you can hire a boat for your own expenses.

You will take a lift to the World Heritage Skywalk where you can enjoy a breathtaking view over the town, lake and mountains. Please note that the lift is closed for renovation from September 2025 to June 2026, you will have a relaxing boat trip on the lake in good weather, where you can admire the stunning views of the surrounding nature.

Coffee break in a countrylike atmosphere of another quality restaurant on a highway, where we will make a compulsory 30 minutes stop for our coach according to EU law regulations.

Choose at least 24 hour before tour departure an option with free hotel pick-up, which starts approx. 45 min prior to departure.
Please note that you will cover approx. 600 km. by motorway and Alpine roads at this day. It is approx. 7,5 hours drive with short breaks. You will spend approx. 20 minutes in Ort castle, max. 3 hours in Hallstatt, 15 minutes in Traunkirchen, 2 stops on the highway for coffee break.
Since most places don’t accept cards in Hallstatt, we advise you to bring some cash for boats and street food, as well as 50-cent coins for the toilets.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR SKYWALK VISITORS Skywalk lift began extensive renovation works and will remain in operation until 31 August 2025. Pease note: Skywalk viewpoint is no longer barrier-free accessible. Wheelchairs and pushchairs must be parked at the valley station and there are many steps to go from moutaint station to Skywalk view point. The Skywalk lift will be closed for renovation from Septemeber 2025 to June 2026
