Our love for cycling has been growing for years. We embraced the freedom in our daily cycling rides. Thus, we want to share this passion with those that are curious enough to discover the cycling routes of Thassos and Northern Greece and ride free with us. Thassos was our top pick! It is one of the best spots that combine mountains and sea. And as experience athletes ourselves, with bike racing experiences in Greece and abroad, we are very selective. The routes of Thassos combine a diverse terrain of forest roads, stony paths, and routes. Thus, we created routes that connect traditional settlements and offer a unique view of the Aegean sea. Our Guides will inform every participant with pieces of information about the nature and secrets of the island.
The route starts from the office (Hype Trails) and after each participant takes his bike, the necessary check is made and the bike fitting follows. After this process is completed, we start our first kilometers in the area of Skala Potamia parallel to the coastline.
We ride between the taverns and souvenir shop with the outstanding view of the biggest coast around the island.
After traveling our first 10 kilometers uphill we start to descend to the traditional settlement of Potamia. We cross the village, through the traditional square of the village with the plane trees, and take the traditional route to Mount Ypsario.
We have already turned to our next destination. The traditional settlement of Panagia. ‘A picturesque settlement with stone houses. There we cross the village from the cobbled streets and pass through the heart of the settlement with shops and souvenirs. The location is suitable for a short stop
Our office located in the main road that connects Skala Panagias and Skala Potamias. It is located at the height of the camping of the golden beach.
