About this experience

On this half-day tour of the south of the island, you will discover the most authentic flavours of Tenerife and its renowned wines. Also, at the end of the experience, you will return to your accommodation in time to continue enjoying the rest of the day as you prefer.

We will begin our tour with a visit to a banana plantation: Finca Las Margaritas. There you will know the cultivation of our star fruit, banana.

We will take a tour of the farm, where we will be introduced to banana growing, gofio production and enjoy a tasting of local products.

We will continue our tour, enjoying the breathtaking views along the mountain road, and arrive at the Lagar de Chasna Winery. There we will perform a wine tasting paired with a delicious selection of local appetizers, which will allow you to taste the best of Canarian gastronomy.

After this gastronomic and oenological experience, we will embark on the road back.

Here we will learn everything about the cultivation of our star fruit, the banana. We will take a tour of the farm in which they will explain how bananas were grown in the past, how gofio is obtained, and you will try a tasting of products made with banana, gofio and palm honey, as well as other tropical fruits.

We will continue the tour enjoying the wonderful views offered by the mountain road towards Vilaflor. There we will arrive at the Lagar de Chasna, where we will perform a wine tasting accompanied by a delicious snack with typical Canarian products, which will allow you to taste the best of the cuisine of the Islands.

In this way, we will put the finishing touch to the excursion enjoying a unique atmosphere between vineyards and traditional flavors.
