The Vizcaya Bridge (Bizkaiko Zubia in Basque), also known as the Hanging Bridge, is a toll transporter bridge, conceived, designed and built by private initiative between 1887 and 1893, which joins the two banks of the Bilbao estuary in Vizcaya (Spain). ). The bridge, according to UNESCO, “is a spectacular and aesthetically pleasing addition to the river estuary and an exceptional expression of technical creativity, reflecting a completely satisfying relationship between form and function”. In other words, an amazing work that perfectly combines beauty, aesthetics and functionality.

The Lezama Leguizamón Palace is an elegant and stately palace that is located on the promontory of Arriluce, on Atxekolandeta street in the elite neighborhood of Neguri, municipality of Getxo. In this area we find a rich variety of architectural styles, ranging from neo-Basque to neo-mountain regionalism, passing through neo-medievalism. The building, which was built for the Lezama-Leguizamón family, historically linked to mining and more recently to Banco Bilbao Vizcaya Argentaria, dates from 1902 and was the work of the architect José María Basterra.

The facilities are located at the end of the Getxo Marina, the last roundabout on the left before reaching BilbaoPort. At the end of the parking lot you will find a white fence with canoes stored on the other side, you will wait at the entrance of the fence.
