Stonehenge is the greatest and most iconic marvel of prehistoric Britain and a Unesco World Heritage Site. Travel back in time and discover what inspired stone age people to start erecting this monument 4,500 years ago. Upon arrival your guide will offer you an entertaining and informative privately guided tour of this unique Stone Circle and you will learn about recent archaeological discoveries. Afterward, we will stop nearby to admire Silbury Hill, the largest artificial mound in Britain and the purpose of which still remains unknown. This mysterious chalk mound is roughly the same height and volume as the Egyptian pyramids, which were built at roughly the same time. Walk to the top and savour the views if you still have the energy.

En route back to Bath we will pass by the Cherhill White Horse, carved into the chalk hillside nearly 250 years ago. This is a great photo opportunity.
