To begin your tour we usually start at the geothermal exhibit, where you can learn what really goes on inside Iceland and how we create our 100% renewable energy from our volcanoes and glaciers.

On your journey through Icelands landscapes you will stop at the famous fridheimar green houses to see how we farm our fruit and veg with our geothermal energy, and of course give the fresh tomatoes soup a try, if we can stop here we will take you to our neighbouring farm to try the mushroom soup.
You will stop to marvel and explore the the shooting Geysir of Strokkur. The hot spring erupts out of the ground every 4-8 minutes with boiling water, the whole area is saturated in small bubbling springs to explore.
This waterfall is one of the grandest in Iceland, it holds a heart warming story of the locals that battled to keep its existence. There are many view points that sound this magnificent waterfall for you to enjoy.
Here at the geothermal lakes you can see how our traditional rye bread is made, if you are lucky and we time it right ,you can try the freshly baked geothermal bread from the sands of the lake.
