Reception and welcome to participants. Delivery of bottle of mineral water. The Guide will make a brief explanation about the historical context of the formation of Arraial Novo de N. Sra. do Pilar, Vila e Cidade de São João del-Rei (arrival of the Bandeirantes, Guerra dos Emboabas, Quinto do Ouro, Estrada Real, Gentilico, passage of Emperor Dom Pedro II, Railroad EFOM and some expressions).

At this point the guide will talk about the life and career of President Tancredo de Almeida Neves.
