Quito was declared the Ibero-American capital of cocoa in Europe, thus the "Cacao Route" was born, a tour focused on showing the richness and uses of this fruit. Along the route through several tastings we will learn about the importance of this food in the equatorial lands.

We will visit a popular market to learn about the natural wealth of Ecuador and the variety of fruits we have in the country.

Together with our guide we will go to Huma Chocolate to learn about the cocoa process to make a chocolate bar.

We will visit this crafts place where we will taste another product that can be obtained from cocoa and we will have a fun time

We will learn about this interesting family project that is dedicated to researching cocoa and chocolate, and we will try one of their star products, chocolate truffle stuffed with passion fruit.

To finish our tour we will visit this interesting project, which is led by a woman who works with a community of Afro-Ecuadorian women from the coast of Ecuador, here we will have an interesting chocolate tasting with cocoa beer
