About this experience

Protected by a huge State Park, Ilha Grande is famous for its lush Atlantic Rainforest and beautiful beaches with emerald waters. Its waters have great visibility and great marine biodiversity.It is one of the best places for hiking and Ecotourism.
Leaving Rio early, we go to Mangaratiba or Conceição de Jacareí (approx. 2hs - 135 km / 83 miles), and embark on sea transportation to Vila do Abraão, the main of Ilha Grande, still in the morning.
Our destination on the island, Lopes Mendes beach, which is considered to be one of the most beautiful in the world.
Access can be done by trail, passing by the beautiful beaches of Palmas and Pouso. (6km / 3,7 miles - approx 3hs).
There is another option to go by boat (one way/round trip - not included), and hiking only the last and easy part of the trail (20 minutes).
