About this experience

The Tijuca’s National Park is a Brazilian conservation unit for the integral protection of nature, declared by UNESCO as a Biosphere Reserve.
It is the most visited park in Brazil and is located in the central portion of Rio. As it does not have a continuous territory, is it integrated into the urban area of the city.
The Tijuca Forest is part of Rio's history and has many curiosities, it mixes in a fascinating way with the city and the Carioca’s lifestyle. It is one of the greatest Eco spots of Rio, covered by Atlantic Rainforest with beautiful flora and fauna and many waterfalls, rivers and lakes, caves, mountains.
In this classic Eco Tour, we will visit the most important points of the Forest Sector, hiking through the beautiful and forested streets and trails of the National Park, with options from easy to moderate levels.

Recommendations: wear light clothes and hiking shoes, bring a small backpack with water, snacks, mosquito repellent, sunscreen, swimming suits and sandals, dry clothes for changing, towel, cap or hat, sunglasses and cash for extras.

Short hiking sections are required for this tour. May include stairs or uphills.

Rainy weather does not affect the scheduled tour of the forest, which is known to be more enchanting and lively during such weather. The waterfalls are more magnificent and the chances of spotting wild animals increase during rainfall.
