About this experience

Hierapolis Ancient City is one of the most important and frequently visited ancient cities in Turkey and the special structure of this place always fascinates the tourists. Hierapolis Ancient City is included in the UNESCO World Heritage List with all these wonderful features. In the ancient city of Hierapolis, the Roman bath, Hierapolis (Pamukkale) archaeology museum, Ancient pool (Cleopatra swimming pool), Apollon Lairbenos temple, Necropolis, St Philip holy area, and the ancient theatre are among the ruins that should be visited here.

This is the Ancient Pool in the city of Hierapolis dating back to the second century B.C., also known as Cleopatra Pool, under the protection of UNESCO, in the archaeological site of Hierapolis Ancient City, which is on the World Cultural Heritage List, in the area just above Pamukkale Travertines. It is claimed that even the Egyptian Queen Cleopatra heard the praise of this pool. Since the pool is fed by thermal waters, the summer and winter temperature is exactly 36 degrees, which is the optimal body temperature. So you can think of the pleasure of the pool in winter!
