Detailed itinerary

1
Stop 1

Meet with our licensed Tour Guide at 08:20am and depart immediately for Delphi archaeological site with our air-conditioned coach. The drive will last approximately 3 hours with a small stop of 25 minutes at a local cafe for a rest-break.

2

Delphi was the cultural and religious heart of the Hellenic world. Set in a stunning landscape, once considered the center of the world, where, according to mythology, two eagles sent by Zeus to find the navel of the world, met. The site, once sacred to Mother Earth and guarded by the serpent Python, later became Apollo’s sanctuary, built by Cretans arriving at Kirrha (the port of Delphi) accompanied by the god in the form of a dolphin. Such myths were celebrated in the Delphic festivals, like the Pythia and the Delphinia, with music and athletic competitions. Explore unique monuments such as the Treasury of the Athenians, the Temple of Apollo, the Athenian Stoa, and the Polygonal Wall with our expert guide, ensuring you don’t miss a thing.

3
Stop 3

Delphi Archaeological Museum hosts globally known pieces of Art like the Naxian Sphinx, the statue of Antinoos, the frieze of the Treasury of the Sifnians and the bronze Charioteer.

4

The last stop on our journey is the picturesque village of Arachova. Here you may enjoy your lunch or take a step back and admire the beautiful surroundings. Arachova is a charming mountain town on the slopes of Mount Parnassus, known as the "Winter Mykonos" of Greece. Famous for its traditional stone houses, cozy atmosphere, and stunning views, Arachova is a popular destination for skiing, hiking, and exploring nearby Delphi. Visitors can enjoy local delicacies like formaela cheese, shop for handmade textiles, and experience the town’s vibrant après-ski scene. Whether in winter or summer, Arachova offers a perfect blend of nature, culture, and Greek hospitality.

5

After a full day exploring the ancient wonders of Delphi and the charming village of Arachova, return in the evening with your heart and camera full of unforgettable sights and memories. The drive will last approximately 3 hours with a short toilet break.
