We will pick you up in a clean, air-conditioned car, so you can enjoy a comfortable journey up Montserrat mountain.
Montserrat mountain is one of the most popular pilgrimage sites in the world, home to a historic monastery and the famous Black Madonna. The multi-peaked mountain offers breathtaking views of Barcelona, the Serra de Collserola Natural Park, and the Balearic Sea.
As part of this exciting trip, we will take you to a local winery for a wine tasting tour. Catalonia has a perfect climate for growing grapes, and its wines and cavas are known worldwide. During the tasting tour, you will see the winery and vineyards, learn how they make their wines, and taste 6 original Catalan wines and cavas (and their extra virgin olive oil!). It will be a fun and cultural experience in an authentic setting, allowing you to fully appreciate the centuries-old wine culture of Catalonia.
After the winery tour, your private driver will safely take you back to your accommodation in Barcelona.
Information for the customer (Know before you go)
• Please check your email the day before the tour to receive important information.
• Private transfers include pickup and drop-off at your accommodation in Barcelona. We will arrange private transfers in a standard car (sedan) for groups of 1-4 people, and in a large van for groups of 5 people and more. If you're traveling in a smaller group but want to travel in a more spacious car, we recommend booking a tour for 5 people to take advantage of the van transport.
• We will limit the number of people participating in the wine tasting tour to 25, so that all guests can get the best experience, ask questions and hear the wine expert well. Other participants may join you for the wine tasting.
• The legal drinking age in Spain is 18.
• Lunch can be arranged upon request.
• We recommend that you wear comfortable shoes and warm clothes for the hike
