Discover the art treasures of the National Art Museum of Catalonia, housed in the grand, ornate Palau Nacional. With a collection of over 5,000 artworks, the museum lets you dive deep into over 1000 years of art history, from Romanesque, Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque to modern art. Among its treasures, you will see rare pieces of romanesque church paintings and murals, such as the extraordinarily expressive paintings from the Apse of Sant Climent de Taüll.

Throughout the tour, your Private Guide will provide interesting commentary on art history, explaining how the traditions of Catalan heritage are expressed through the displayed sculptures, paintings, engravings, drawings, and even regional coins. Another highlight of this tour will be visiting the rooftop of Palau Nacional, which offers spectacular views of the Barcelona skyline from one of the highest points in the city.
