Sightseeing in Old Town with a visit to a traditional restaurant and a pastry shop. You will see highlights such as the landmark city square Plaça de Sant Jaume, the imposic Gothic Cathedral of Barcelona, the ancient Roman ruins and many more. To truly appreciate the multicultural heritage of the city, your Private Guide will introduce you to the local cuisine with a tasting of original Catalan and Spanish dishes. We will serve you a full course meal, including good portions of meat and seafood specialties, a soup and a sweet dessert such as Crema Catalana (yellow cream made with egg yolk). This is your chance to try Bombas (a tennis ball-sized potato croquette) or Bacallà amb samfaina (salted cod with vegetable dish). We will also serve a cup of tea/coffee and a soda drink.
