Learn about Leonardo’s time in the Eternal City and visit the Leonardo da Vinci Experience Museum with fast-track tickets that allow you to skip the lines at the ticket office. This hands-on museum is a great place to learn about the many talents of Leonardo, from painting to engineering. There are more than 50 certified da Vinci inventions on display, more than anywhere else. You can see how they work and what they do. There are also full-scale reproductions of his famous masterpieces such as the Last Supper and Mona Lisa.

Your Expert Guide will tell you about da Vinci’s influence on the Renaissance period in Rome and beyond. From 1513 to 1516, Leonardo worked in the capital, but as you will learn, he wasn't as busy here as in Florence or Milan. You will learn about his rivalry with Michelangelo, who was much more successful in Rome, and other interesting facts about the model Renaissance man.
