Choose the 12-hour option to travel from Rome to Florence. The trip will begin with pickup directly from your accommodation, so you can enjoy the comfort of private transportation as you travel through the picturesque Tuscan landscape.
A Local Guide will meet you in Florence and show you its many fabulous churches, palaces, bridges and other world heritage sites.
During the 4-hour walking tour you will visit one of the most important church museums in Florence, the Basilica of Santa Croce. Skip-the-line tickets are included to avoid wasting time in long lines. Inside, you will discover a richly decorated interior with Giotto frescoes and tombs of Michelangelo and Galileo.
You will also stroll through the historic city center and see highlights such as Ponte alle Grazie and Ponte Vecchio overlooking the Arno River.
Head to Piazza della Signoria to admire the iconic town hall (Palazzo Vecchio), Neptune’s Fountain, a replica of Michelangelo’s David and other monuments.
Another highlight will be a visit inside the magnificent Florence Cathedral, which is one of the largest and most beautiful churches in the world.
The walking tour will end outside the Basilica of Santa Maria Novella, but you will have free time to explore more on your own, do souvenir shopping and eat lunch before returning to your accommodation in Rome.

The guide will meet you in Florence. During transfers, your English and Spanish speaking driver will be able to answer inquiries and requests.
Free admission to Florence Cathedral includes only the main part of the church, without access to the dome, baptistry, museum or bell tower. Admission may be excluded from the itinerary if the entry line is too long.

Skip-the-line tickets to the Basilica di Santa Croce grant you immediate entry at your booked time, without waiting in line at the ticket office. Headsets will be provided for groups larger than 4 people. The Basilica of Santa Croce has limited opening hours on Sundays and holidays. It's closed on New Year's Day, Easter, Feast of St. Anthony of Padua, Feast of St. Francis of Assisi, Christmas Day and Boxing Day.
Guided tours inside the churches during masses and scheduled events are limited. If entry is not possible, the guide will provide all information outside. It is advised to cover your shoulders and knees when visiting the churches in Florence.
We will arrange private transfers in a standard car (sedan) for groups of 1-4 people, and in a larger van or minibus for groups of 5 people and more. If you're traveling in a smaller group but want to travel in a more spacious car, we recommend booking a 5-people tour to take advantage of a larger vehicle.
For the convenience of all guests, it is best to have 1 licensed guide per maximum of 25 guests. If there are 26-50 people in your group, we will provide the service of 2 licensed guides so that all guests can get the best experience, ask questions and hear the guide well.
