Points of interest include the Fontaine du Châtelet and the Saint-Jacques Tower, which commemorates the events of the French Revolution.
You will admire the scenic views of the River Seine as you cross the landmark bridge Pont au Change to get to Ile de la Cité island, which is known as the “birthplace of Paris.”
One of its most important monuments, after the Notre Dame Cathedral, is Concierge, which served as a royal palace and prison to Marie Antoinette.
