The private tour starts with a pick up at 9 am from your hotel or apartment.
Around 9:30 you will reach Mtskheta, the old capital of Georgia. Mtskheta used to be an important trade and cultural city during the pagan times and it was also the first place in Georgia to officially accept Christianity as a state religion. No suprise, that the city houses some of the most important Christian sights of Georgia, such as the UNESCO protected Svetitskhoveli cathedral and the Samtavro monastery.
After a walk through the picturesque streets of the Old town of Mtskheta you will continue your journey towards the mountains.
Along the Georgian Military Highway, which is considered one of the most beautiful roads in Georgia you will get a chance to stop at the Jinvali water reservoir, explore the wonderfully preserved castle Ananuri, try pure spring and mineral water and enjoy the panoramic view from the Friendship monument platform.
In Gudauri you will have 2 to 3 hours to spend at your wish - we can help you to rent ski equipment and find a ski instructor or arrange for you a paragliding flight or take you to a good and cozy restaurant. You decide and we assist you.
On the way back you can simply relax after and eventful day and take a nap, while the driver drives you safely and fast to your hotel.
