3
Stop 3

Embark on a one-of-a-kind adventure around Sunken City and uncover the intriguing secrets of Kekova's history. Dolchiste, an ancient city, was submerged by an earthquake in the 2nd century, and its underwater ruins continue to amaze visitors.

4

As this is a restricted zone, swimming is prohibited. However, an excellent alternative for discovering the location is to take a boat ride alongside the ruins, providing you with an opportunity to take stunning photos that you will cherish forever.

5

Enjoy a refreshing swim break in the beautiful Aquarium Bay while basking in the warm sunshine.

6

Our boat will drop anchor in Kaleköy port (ancient Simena) for one hour, giving you time to visit this small authentic village that’s home to castle ruins and a necropolis.

7

A hike up the hillside will give you magnificent views of the Kekova region. If you’d prefer to admire Simena Castle from down below, you can use your remaining time to take another dip in the gorgeous blue waters.

8

Let's take a break for lunch and a refreshing swim at the stunning Esmeralda Bay. This place offers serene surroundings, and it will be a fun experience.

Another lovely spot for a swim break is Burç Bay, where the water feels cooler due to natural springs. It's an excellent opportunity to relax and enjoy the peaceful ambiance of this place.

During our journey, we'll also stop at Gökkaya Bay, where you can immerse yourself in the natural beauty of the area. You can also participate in exciting water sports if you want to add some adventure to your experience.

9

Discover this intriguing naturally-formed cave, which is renowned for its large size and curved entrance.

10

Have you heard about Karemlik Bay? It's a beautiful spot where you can witness three out of the seven species of sea turtles native to the Mediterranean Sea. You'll have the opportunity to observe these magnificent creatures in their natural habitat.

Once you've had your fill of marine life, our boat will take you to Demre Harbour, where you can continue your tour with a visit to a nearby museum. It's a great way to round out your day of adventure on the water.

11

Optional - At this place, you can discover artifacts from nearby Lycian cities that have withstood the test of time and provide insights into the ancient history of the region.

12

Optional - From the visitor reception area, you will find walking paths leading you past the Andriake ruins. The last point on the path is a 2nd-century ancient granary, which has been converted into the Museum of Lycian Civilizations.

13
Stop 13

Optional - Our tour takes us to the Santa Claus Museum located in the center of Demre town. This fascinating archaeological building was constructed in 520 A.D. and was initially a church dedicated to the patron saint of the 4th-century, St. Nicholas of Myra.

14

Optional - You can now explore the ruins of the previous church, transporting yourself back in time to when the historic city of Myra was still present.

15

St. Nicholas is highly respected by both Catholics and Orthodox Christians for his gift of uniting people. The Russian Orthodox Church holds him in great reverence and refers to him as St. Nicholas the Wonderworker due to the many miracles he accomplished during and after his lifetime.

16

The Myra theatre, dating back to the 1st century BC, was constructed on a steep hillside and boasts remarkable staircases and barrel vaults crafted from masonry. The decorative friezes are also in excellent condition. Following the earthquake of 141 A.D., the theatre was reconstructed with the assistance of contributions from Opramoas of Rhodiapolis, Jason of Kyaneai, and Licinius Langus of Oinoanda.

17
Stop 17

Here's your opportunity to explore Demre's renowned archaeological site! You'll get to witness Myra's significant ancient ruins, dating back to the 5th century B.C., and take a real step back in history.

18
Stop 18

You have ample time to check out the two main attractions at this stop: a spacious Roman-style theater (which happens to be the biggest in Lycia!) and spooky tombs that have been carved into the cliffs above.

19

As the day comes to a close, we will conclude the tour by returning you to Kemer. From there, you can continue your vacation in Turkey and cherish the memories of the day you spent with us.
