Discover the fascinating secrets of Kekova’s history on this unique adventure around Sunken City. The ancient city of Dolchiste was flooded due to an earthquake in the 2nd century, and its resulting underwater ruins never fail to leave an impression.

4

Since this is a protected area, swimming is not permitted here, so what better way to explore the site than by cruising alongside the ruins on our boat, giving you the chance to capture unforgettable photos.

5

Soak up the sunshine at picture-perfect Aquarium Bay during a delightful swim break.

6

Our boat will drop anchor in Kaleköy port (ancient Simena) for one hour, giving you time to visit this small authentic village that’s home to castle ruins and a necropolis.

7

A hike up the hillside will give you magnificent views of the Kekova region. If you’d prefer to admire Simena Castle from down below, you can use your remaining time to take another dip in the gorgeous blue waters.

8

Esmeralda Bay
Time for a lunch and swim break at beautiful Esmeralda Bay where you can enjoy peace and tranquility during this fun journey.

Burç Bay
Enjoy the peaceful ambiance of this area during a swim break in Burç Bay, where the water feels cooler due to cold underwater natural springs!

Gökkaya Bay
We’ll stop to swim in Gökkaya Bay, where you can experience the natural beauty of the area and opt to participate in one of the various exciting water sports on offer.

9

Discover this intriguing naturally-formed cave, which is renowned for its large size and curved entrance.

10

Karemlik Bay
3 out of the 7 known sea turtle species can be found in the Mediterranean Sea. At Karemlik Bay, you’ll have the chance to look for these majestic creatures in their natural habitat.

Demre Harbour
After your fascinating trip on the water, our boat will drop anchor in Demre port, where your tour continues with a visit to a nearby museum.

11

Optional - From the visitor reception area, you will find walking paths leading you past the Andriake ruins. The last point on the path is a 2nd-century ancient granary, which has been converted into the Museum of Lycian Civilizations.

12

Optional - Here you will find artefacts from nearby Lycian cities which have survived the years, and tell you more about the ancient history of the region.

13
Stop 13

Optional - Our tour continues with the Santa Claus Museum in Demre town center. Originally built in 520 A.D., this interesting archeological building started its operation as a church, built in memory of St. Nicholas of Myra, a 4th-century patron saint.

14

Optional - Here you can explore the remains of this former church, taking yourself back in time to when the ancient city of Myra still existed.

15

St. Nicholas is a revered figure among both Catholics and Orthodox Christians for his ability to bring people together. The Russian Orthodox Church holds him in high esteem, calling him St. Nicholas the Wonderworker because of the many miracles he performed during his lifetime and beyond.

16

The ancient Greek theatre of Myra was built in the 1st century BC on a steep mountain slope. It has impressive staircases and barrel vaults made of masonry, and well-preserved decorative friezes. The theatre was rebuilt after the earthquake of 141 A.D., thanks to donations from Opramoas of Rhodiapolis, Jason of Kyaneai, and Licinius Langus of Oinoanda.

17
Stop 17

Optional - Your chance to discover Demre’s most famous archeological site! A true step back in history as you observe some of Myra’s most significant ancient ruins dating as far back as the 5th century B.C.

18

As the day draws to an end, we will finish the tour by dropping you back off in Antalya, where you can continue your holiday in Turkey, and treasure the moments you shared on this day.

19
Stop 19

Optional - There is plenty of time to explore the two highlights of this stop: a Roman-style theatre (the largest in Lycia!) and eerie rock-cut tombs carved into the cliffs above.
