Irish is the spoken language on the Aran Islands (we rarely ever say Gaelic), although the locals will be more than happy to speak to you in English.
For many, the highlight of the tour is the formidable pre-Christian fort of Dún Aonghusa, (Phon: Doon Aengussa) with spectacular sea-cliffs on the western side and unspoilt views of the Atlantic Ocean.
Your tour of Inis Mór begins and ends at the island's airport and includes stops at 'Seven Churches' (15 minutes), Dún Aonghusa (75 minutes) and Kilronan for lunch (45 minutes).

Check in at 7:10AM! Train departs at 7:35am & it does not wait. Our yellow check-in stand is located close to the Customer Service Desk at Heuston Station where our representative will be waiting for you in their BRIGHT yellow jacket!
Please note that for operational reasons and in bad weather conditions it may, on occasion, be necessary to alter certain itineraries. If flights are cancelled due to bad weather conditions, you will be taken on an alternative tour to Connemara and refunded the difference.
Children U16 cannot book independently. They must be accompanied by a parent/guardian at all times.

Meeting point
Our Representatives will be waiting in the main concourse area of the station with your travel pack in bright yellow jackets so that they are easily located.
Check in is 20 minutes prior to the departure time listed.

• Clients are advised to be on time at meeting points given by hosts, guides and coach drivers as tours will proceed without them.
• Wheelchair accessibility: As long as the passenger has some mobility then this tour would be suitable. Trains in Ireland are wheelchair friendly however buses/coaches are not. The guest would have to be able to climb the steps on to the bus. Mobility Scooters cannot be accommodated on this tour.
