About this experience

I’m Dorotea, a self-employed local guide in Dubrovnik, and I personally lead every tour. I take small groups of up to 6 guests on intimate walks through the Old Town, sharing local stories, legends, and historical insights that only a local can tell.

Ploče gate is the eastern gate to the City. We will enter to town, and you will hear some general informations about history of Dubrovnik.

City Harbour is one of the oldest and one of the most important parts of the City from the era of Republic. The harbour was also the oldest shipyard, and a place where large boats were repaired.

Stop 3

Listen some interesting facts about religion in Dubrovnik, and why St. Blaise is so important for Dubrovnik.

The Rectors Palace, was the administrative centre of the Dubrovnik Republic. Listen some stories about the Government of the Republic of Dubrovnik, about the politics and beliefs.

Walk on the most famous stairs in Dubrovnik to see Jesuit Church - Dubrovnik s most beautiful baroque complex.

The most interesting fact about the Ethnographic Museum is that it is housed in an old granary. From that place we will have a wonderful view of a part of the city walls. You will hear an interesting story about the construction of the walls.

We will stop on the small square. Poljana Paska Miličevića where we will see Church of St Saviour, Big Onofrio fountain, and The Franciscan Monastery with old pharmacy.
