About this experience
Departure by private water taxi will take you across the lagoon to the well-known island of Murano.
Famous for its glassmaking since the 10th century, visit one of Murano’s quality glass works.
Whilst watching one of the glass masters blowing the glass in the furnace of the glassworks, your local guide will explain to you the history and the process of glassmaking throughout the years.
After this, you will have time to visit their elegant show rooms.
Then by private water taxi crossing the northern part of the lagoon, you will arrive at the colorful island of Burano, famous for its brightly colored houses, fishing industry and also its lacemaking. You will have time to walk around this elegant little island and also visit its shops.
