Detailed itinerary

1

Amalfi was founded around the 4th century AD by Roman refugees who had fled from Melfi, tormented by barbarian hordes. Right from the beginning, the inhabitants took advantage of the natural harbor that facilitated maritime trade.

2

The picturesque village of Positano is located in a unique panoramic position along one of the most fascinating coastal stretches of the Sorrento Peninsula, between Punta Germano and Capo Sottile.
Positano is a charming fishing village that runs up through cobblestone alleys, steep steps, and houses that climb up the hillside.

3

Between the 10th and 12th centuries, Ravello had become a very populous town full of noble buildings, churches, towers and wonderful villas. Unfortunately, it was attacked by troops from Pisa, a rival city to the Maritime Republic of Amalfi, who sowed destruction.

4

Cetara is an authentic jewel nestled between the blue sea and the green Lattari Mountains. This small fishing village has maintained its authenticity over time, offering visitors a unique experience of the local history, culture and food.

5

In addition to the marvelous Emerald Grotto, which I’ll be telling you about in the next file, Conca dei Marini boasts some of the most secluded and striking beaches on the entire Amalfi Coast, most of which are accessible only by sea. The main beach, Marina di Conca, can be reached by a flight of steps carved into the rock.

6

A boat trip is definitely the best way to fully appreciate Capri, one of the most enchanting and renowned islands in the Mediterranean. Visible from the sea are elements such as: the imposing Punta Carena lighthouse from 1867; the Torre della Guardia, or Watchtower; the remains of forts built by the British in the early 1800s, and the world-famous Faraglioni, spectacular rock formations that rise up out of the water.
