Although it changes seasonally, you will be taken from the hotel in Cappadocia by the transfer car and brought to the balloon departure point approximately 1 hour before sunrise.
Here, you will have the chance to watch the Hot Air Balloon being prepared for flight by the experienced crew and take unique photos & videos.
We will have shared your pick-up time from the hotel the day before the experience.
After the Hot Air Balloon is ready to fly, you will be invited to the basket by the ground crew.
Then your experienced pilot will give a brief briefing on flight safety. Within minutes, the Balloon will slowly take off.
You will have discovered the unique fairy chimneys, volcanic valley and rock formations of Cappadocia to the fullest from the sky. The Hot Air Balloon Ride will take approximately 50-70 minutes.
Balloons are subject to the wind, they are the most primitive but safest aircraft in the world. It has no rudder or steering wheel. The pilot can rotate the balloon around its axis, descend and ascend. The wind determines the direction of the wind.
The pilot determines the take-off area accordingly and plans the best quality flight he can offer.
The pilot will have landed safely at the most suitable point he has planned.
This usually happens on a trailer. But sometimes ground crew support is required for safe landing. After the security measures to be taken and the deflating of the Balloon, you will get out of the basket. It is traditional and a champagne celebration is held after every safe flight. A flight certificate is then issued.
After the ceremony, transfer cars will be waiting for you. You will be dropped off at your hotel and the experience will be completely over.
