It is an art deco statue depicting Jesus Christ, located at the top of Corcovado Hill, 709 meters above sea level, in Tijuca National Park, overlooking most of the city of Rio de Janeiro.

Parque Henrique Lage (or simply Parque Lage) is a public park in the city of Rio de Janeiro, located at the foot of Corcovado Hill, on Jardim Botânico street. It has an area of more than 52 hectares and was listed by the Instituto do Patrimônio Histórico e Artístico Nacional (IPHAN), on June 14, 1957, as a historical and cultural heritage of the city of Rio de Janeiro. The palace has housed, since 1966, the Institute of Fine Arts, which in 1974 gave rise to the School of Visual Arts.

We will get to know a totally safe community called Tavares Bastos, which today houses an elite battalion of the Military Police, and MAZE House elected one of the 100 best jazz houses in the world. We will have lunch in the community getting to know the local gastronomy. Unique experience of feeling what the life of a resident of a community is like.

Hogwarts Carioca!
The institution was founded in 1837 by a group of forty-three Portuguese immigrants, political refugees, to promote culture among the Portuguese community of the then capital of the Empire. It was the first association of this community in the city.

The ensign raised to martyrdom in Colonial Brazil after the fall of the monarchy was sentenced to be hanged and quartered by the Portuguese Crown, in the historical episode known as Inconfidência Mineira. On the way to the gallows, erected in Campo de São Domingos, current Praça Tiradentes, the inconfidente would have been allowed to say his last prayer, in Nossa Senhora da Lampadosa Church, whose construction began in 1748.
