Then we continue to Ollantaytambo, here its located the train station 1 hour and 45 minutes from Cusco. We will take the Selected train to continue to Aguas Calientes Town (Machupicchu City ), The route its a picturesque along the river at the base of the mountains that lasts about 1 hour and 45 minutes.
Upon arrival in Aguas Calientes, you’ll meet our guide, who will lead the way to the Inca citadel of Machu Picchu. This is a 25-minute bus ride to the top of the mountain that shares the same name. Machu Picchu is a true Inca gem—a fully constructed stone city surrounded by stunning scenery. The guided tour lasts approximately 2 hours, covering the most significant points of interest and offering plenty of opportunities to take memorable photos. Afterward, you can enjoy some free time to explore on your own before heading back.
Satisfied with having visited Machu Picchu, we will begin the return journey. You will take the bus back to Aguas Calientes with your pre-purchased ticket. Here, you’ll have time to enjoy lunch. The town is small, safe, and offers plenty of dining options. Once ready, we’ll head to the train station to board the train at the scheduled time.
At Ollantaytambo station, our driver will be waiting for you to take you back to your hotel in Cusco.
