After being picked up by our driver/guide, drive to the Nairobi city center where you'll head to the 'Matatu' stage with our guide. Get to board one of the classic buses and drive to Rongai. As you travel onboard these matatus get to experience the Nairobi matatu culture filled with sound systems that are extreme. Moreover, the incredible graffiti on the exterior and interior of the Matatu. Ongata Rongai is a peri-urban settlement on the outskirts of Nairobi located in Kajiado County and is situated 17 km south of Nairobi town. Although primarily located within the Nairobi metropolitan, it does not fall within the city's administrative boundaries and is separated from Nairobi city by the Mbagathi River. Once you arrive at Rongai, alight from the matatu and board another to the Nairobi city center.
After getting to Nairobi, you'll head to the next point which is where you get to board another Matatu headed to "Kasarani". This is another route with really incredible "Matatus". While en route to Kasarani get to drive through one of Kenya's mega road projects ever which is the Thika Road. Once we get to Kasarani, we'll head back to town and afterward drop you off at your pick-up location.
