Chendgu has more things to do apart from Panda Base, and this private Chengdu day tour will let you explore Wuhou Temple, Qingyang Palace, Jinli Street, Jinsha Site Musuem, and Kuan & Zhai Alleys with a local guide. The fun part is to watch the famous Sichuan Opera which is impressive for its quick face-changing.

At 8:30am, you will be picked up from your centrally located Chengdu hotel lobby and start Chengdu city tour with your guide.
You will visit Wuhou Temple firstly, which is a temple in memory of a famous scholar, Zhugeliao. It is a nice place to view the local opera singing by local people, tea houses, and museums about Zhugeliao.
Afterwards you will head to the Qingyang Palace, which is a Taoism Temple. You will learn the history and culture about Chinese Taoism here.
Then you will visit Jinsha Site Museum(close on Mondays). Jinsha was found in February 2001 in urban Chengdu. It covers five square-kilometers, and dates back to 12th to 7th century B.C. (approximately 2900 – 3200 years ago). It was the capital of the ancient Shu Kingdom, which is considered to be the ancient civilization center along Yangtze River. Jinsha site Museum was built in 2007 on the original site to exhibit the discovery, relics, and study about Jinsha culture.
Enjoy the local food lunch at Jinli Street. As Chengdu is famous for the delicious Sichuan Cuisine, it is a nice place to view and taste some local food.
Afterwards you will wander around the Kuan and Zhai Alleys to view the traditional and modern local life style here. It is a window to learn the history about the city Chengdu.
Then you will head to watch the famous Sichuan Opera, where you will be impressed by the colorful costume and the face-changing skill.
We might arrange to watch the opera at different theater as per their daily show schedule.
Later, you will be transferred back to your Chengdu hotel where the day tour concludes.
