Bingling Temple, one of the World Cultural Heritage in Gansu Province, about 75km from Lanzhou, is renowned for its amazing sculptures and frescos in the spectacular mountains beside the Yellow River. At 8am, you will be picked up from your centrally located Lanzhou hote, then take 2-hour car ride to Linxia where you will take 40-minute speed boat to saill across Liujiaxia Reservior on the Yellow River to Bingling Temple Grottoes, which was constructed from the 3rd century with amazing statues and frescos. You will stay here about 2 hours, then take speed boat back to your vehicle.
Time permitting, you can visit the nice garden in Linxia, which is renowned for its brick carving with detailed skill to make the flowers, birds, and houses etc.
Afterwards, you will be transferred back to Lanzhou where the tour concludes.
