Summer Palace in the afternoon.

Day 3. Beijing - Xi'an Via Bullet Train

You will visit
Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City in the morning. Then transfer to Beijing South Railway Station to catch a 6-hour bullet train to Xian. Upon arrival, met by our guide and transferred to hotel.

The
Terra Cotta Warriors and Horses Museum is one of the highlights of the Silk Road. you will take one hour ride for a visit in the morning. Then you will visit
Old City Wall and
Muslim Quarter in the afternoon.

Day 5. Xian/Dunhuang(B) Via Flight
Early morning flight to Dunhuang, transferred to hotel. In the afternoon, you will view the
Singing Sand Dunes and Crescent Spring in the desert. Explore the night market in the evening.

Day 6. Dunhuang/Turpan(B) via Bullet Train
In the morning, you will visit
Mogao Caves, the most important site on the Silk Road. Colorful fresco, statues telling you various stories about Buddha.
Afterwards you will be transferred to Liuyuan railway station catch 4-hour bullet train to Turpan. Upon arrival, transfer to hotel.

Today you will visit
Bezklik Grottos, Astana Ancient Tombs, the Ancient City of Jiaohe and Gaochang, Karez Irrigation System, and Emin Minaret.

Day 8. Turpan/Urumqi (B)
You will take a 3-hour ride to Urumqi where you will visit
Xinjiang Museum(close on Mondays), mummies are a must-see in it, particularly
Loulan Beauty and
Xiaohe Beauty.
Then you will visit the beautiful Heavenly Lake this afternoon.

Day 9. Urumqi/Kashgar(B) via Flight
Take a morning flight to Kashgar. Then start the busy day, you will see the well-known
Grand Bazaar, Apa Hojia Tomb, Idkar Mosque, old town of Kashgar.

Day 10. Departing from Kashgar(B)
Transferred to the airport to catch your flight heading your next destination.
