About this experience

Your Downtown Wine Pass must be activated within 90 days of purchase. Experience up to four (4) Woodinville wineries in the Downtown District. After the first tasting flight redemption you will have 90 days to redeem the remaining 3 tasting flights that are included in the pass. *Redeem one flight per winery per pass.

You will receive a text message and email immediately upon purchase. The Downtown Wine Pass can be used directly from your smartphone.

Ambassador Wines of Washington produces 100% estate grown Washington state red wines from our outstanding vineyard located in the heart of Red Mountain. Since our founding in 2004, we have been committed to making wines of the finest quality that reflect the richness and diversity of the Red Mountain terroir.

As operations moved from an apartment in Redmond to a converted property on six rural acres in Woodinville, the winery was able to grow in production. Lance’s passion went from just 200 cases in 2003 to over 3,000 cases now. In late 2007, Baer Winery moved into the popular warehouse wine complex near downtown Woodinville – a move which has allowed us to grow to producing approximately 3,500 cases per year, with a view to continuing to increase to 5,000.
Sadly, our founder, son, brother and friend, Lance Baer, passed away in May of 2007, at the age of 39. But the Baer family, Lisa and Les, with the expertise of consulting winemaker Erica Orr, are continuing to produce the wines that Lance was devoted to creating, as well as continuing to evolve and add new blends to the winery’s line-up.

Our handcrafted wines reflect classic elegance and the centuries-old tradition found in true European-style blends. Balanced and well-rounded, each wine speaks anew to the art of blending and showcases Brian’s personal passion for making exemplary European-style blends from Washington State’s unique terroir.
