The neighbourhood is located on a mountain hill, and while walking up and down its charming streets you will see its small handicraft shops, cafés and art galleries. There is also a beautiful view point, where you can see the historical center of Cusco from above.

This site was at the Inca times a religious site and an old colonial aqueduct. Listen to the tales of the guide while relaxing to the sound of the water from the aqueduct.

Plaza de Armas is the main square of Cusco. The place was an administrative, religious and cultural center of the imperial capital. Here the Incas held ceremonies and celebrated victories. Centuries ago famous peruvian national heroes were excecuted on the square by the spaniards, which later became an iconic moment of peruvian history.

This beautiful square is surrounded by amazing colonial architecture such as the Palace of Cabildo, which is now used as a municipality, the old city hotel, the museum of Garcilaso de la Vega and the house of Illán Suárez de Carbajal, who was an old conquistador.

The square was and still is an important public space, which was formed by the old viceroy of Peru. Here lies the beautiful San Francisco church, its monastery and the oldest school of Cusco.
