Believed to be the 8th largest mosque in the world, this place of worship has an open doors policy inviting citizens of the world to see its magnificence up close. Here, we’ll learn about facets of the Islamic faith and the stunning detail in its construction which took 11 years to build and involved contributions from across the world. We’ll learn about the ‘wudu’ washing rituals and witness the prayer halls where Muslims gather to pray ‘salat al-jama‘ah’. We’ll also get to capture the mosque’s magnificence at sunset when the 22 light towers project bluish clouds onto the white marble.
