About this experience

This private day tour provides a close look at contemporary Morocco. The street art tour and walk is enhanced with stories of the art, persons depicted and discussion of what is seen. The gardens are spectacular and somewhat difficult to reach. Each combines outside art with beautiful plantings. If artists are on site at jardin rouge we will visit with them and discuss their work. The tour may include a visit with an emerging contemporary artist in Marrakech.

Stop 1

A magical place both as a garden with 250 types of plants, revealing a wonderful array of sculpture and art by Rodin, Keith Haring, and other notable artists. Walking through the garden you are surprised at every turn by imaginative art integrated with plants.

After enjoying Anima, we will hit the road to Fes for visit to Le Jardin Rouge at Montresso Art Foundation, have a guided tour, talk to artists and enjoy the spectacular art both inside and outside. Le jardin rouge in not open to visitors Sunday though Tuesday. Another unusual garden or art experience will be substituted.

We return to Marrakech and discover the Street Art, in the souks, streets of the medina and on the walls of the new town. The tour will be a combination of walking in the medina and driving in the newer sections of Marrakech. This tour will be led by a certified guide with local street art knowledge. He will tell you stories of the walls. At the visit end our driver will take you back to your hotel or riad
